Ashley Butterworth

Ashley Butterworth

Managing Director
Following post-graduate studies at UCL, Ashley began work at the BBC in a strategic planning role. He moved to Bechtel as part of the Jubilee Line Extension Project team, and held Engineering and Assurance Management roles on the JLEP and then within the Infrastructure Companies, before joining SRC as a principal consultant specialising in technical assurance in the rail environment in 2003. Ashley was appointed Business Development Director in 2005 with responsibility for expanding SRC's client base. Now as MD he takes overall responsibility for directing SRC’s growth and the quality of delivery of our services. Outside work, he plays cricket and hacks around unfortunate golf courses.

Colin Furbank

Operations Director Colin’s background is in Electrical Engineering, and he started out as a JIB approved electrician in the 1970s. Since starting in the London Underground environment in the late ‘80s, Colin has worked on numerous projects as Project Manager and Project Engineer before co-founding SRC in 2003. Since then Colin has spent most of his time running the SRC office, and liaising with clients and suppliers.

Patrick Keegan

Patrick Keegan

Engineering Director

Patrick is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, and co-founded SRC having spent the previous 25 years working for London Underground. He particularly specialises in electrical, power and signalling engineering. Patrick has personally worked on every line and station on the London Underground Network, and has a wealth of engineering domain and resource knowledge - if he doesn’t know something, he knows a man who does. In his role as Engineering Director, Patrick takes overall responsibility for the quality of SRC engineering consultancy services. Outside work he is kept busy by his four children and his keen interest in horse racing
