Current Requirements

We are currently looking for:

Electrical Design Engineer

HND/Degree level qualification or equivalent

Chartered Engineer status or within 1 year of completion

More than 3 years of electrical design experience

Working / user knowledge of Amtech Pro Design, Hevacomp, Dialux, 17th Edition Regs, LV Distribution, CAD tools and design techniques

Building Services Design Experience including working knowledge of latest lighting codes

Experience of specification writing, both performance & detailed.

Chartered Civil Engineer

HND/Degree level qualification or equivalent

Experience in the Rail sector

Ability to liaise directly with Clients, Local Authorities and other stakeholders

Ability to supervise technicians and CAD technicians

Strong design ability, engineering skills and knowledge

Mechanical Engineers with Rail Experience

Strategic Rail Consultants (SRC) was formed in 2003 by a group of very experienced, specialist rail engineers and managers. Over the last 20 years, they have fulfilled key management and engineering roles on some of the most significant projects in the rail industry.

We have grown into an engineering and design consultancy carrying out specialist survey and design packages, and supporting our clients with embedded domain expertise in their teams.

SRC has over 50 consultants seconded to several major companies involved in running and improving London’s metro system, including London Underground, Tube Lines and The LU Nominees.

SRC continues to successfully deliver survey and design commissions for The LU Nominees, Tube Lines, Balfour Beatty and Thales. We have a proven track record in survey and design work throughout the underground network.
